Coen Smit
Founder & CEO
My career started in the early nineties working for a Dutch charter airline "AirHolland".
Throughout the years I climbed the ladder from mechanic, engineer, Line mx mngr to technical director.
In 2005 The airline went bankrupt and through a management buy out I started Stella Aviation Technics (SAT) what grew out to a serious line mx supplier with several hubs worldwide.
Unfortunately SAT seized to exist 4 years after its start and I need a different direction. In 2009 I started, together with partners, CH-Aero. After different directions in aviation CH-Aero developed in a major weight & Balance provider who can support any operator/MRO/Paint facility with tailor made solutions.
I am especially proud of the development of our own brand of weighing equipment together with our partner Allscales Europe.
Michelle Arentz
Sales Director
I have been working as the Sales Director at CH-Aero since late 2023, and it has been a truly fulfilling experience. My main responsibilities include driving our growth strategy, building partnerships, and overseeing our marketing efforts.
CH-Aero is already well-known in the European market and we are now looking to expand globally. We are planning to form strategic alliances with service partners and open sales outlets in different parts of the world. I am very excited about this expansion and fully committed to achieving our goals with the help of our amazing team.
Our focus in the coming years will be on expanding our presence in international markets and taking CH-Aero to new heights. We will navigate the challenges of global business and seize the opportunities that come our way. Together, we will work towards success and growth.
Alexandra Smit

I'm Alexandra, I used to work as a flight attendant as purser were I instructed the new flight attendants inflight service. After this a became a mother and quit my job at the airlines and volontair as a flight attendant for the dutch Catalina PH-PBY. Currently I'm managing the back office of CH-Aero and hope to get in contact with you soon!
Ravi Narain

Hi! Let me introduce myself, my name is Ravi and I’ve been working in aviation for +/- 20 yrs. Directly after my study, I started working in both line and base maintenance environments and finally got myself rated as an FAA A&P and B2 engineer with B737NG, B747-100/200/300, B757, B777 and B787 ratings.As a part timer, helping CH-Aero in busy times, I got a permanent position offered as a “full-time weigher” in this great company which I could not refuse. So, here I am!
Julian Smit
Marketing/ Operations
Hi, I'm Julian, a 23-year-old aviation enthusiast with a passion for weighing airplanes. I began my journey at 16 and have been an independent weigher since 18, gaining extensive experience through various weighing situations.
I completed my Aviation Operations Officer degree and am now in my final year of HBO Tourism Management. At CH-Aero, I work in the Marketing & Operations department, managing social media, updating the website, and handling all graphic work. I also still enjoy weighing airplanes, especially during trips down south in the colder months :)
I'm proud to be part of the small but enthusiastic team at CH-Aero. I look forward to seeing you at our next weighing!
Remko Klinkenberg

Hi, let me introduce myself, my name is Remko and I’ve been working in aviation for 11 years. While studying for my Aviation Operations degree I worked several jobs in Aviation, from a belly boy to Flight dispatcher. After getting my Operations Degree, I’ve worked in that position for 3+ years until sadly COVID-19 hit the aviation world. With the sudden lack of flights I’ve find myself in a position were I had to leave the Aviation world. Luckily a couple of months after that I got in Contact with the CH-Aero team, and really enjoyed the team and work from day 1. They offered me a part time position in the company, which I couldn’t say no to. And I’m glad I’ve been able to return in the Aviation business with such a great team behind me.
